Entertainment Media Research conducted a survey to investigate the demand for and impact of music across a range of business sectors. 2,000 respondents were surveyed in March 2009.
The results of this initial research show that the vast majority of consumers and employees like hearing music, and that a business using it creates a better atmosphere and impression of itself.
The survey also shows that using music in businesses and in public places can generate positive results for companies and for the people working in them, across multiple sectors of the UK economy.
